The brazilian Alternative
Foothold between Europe and Brazil, Objekto offers an alternative, other glances, several approaches of the contemporary design. Under the inspired hands of the Brazilian designers, folklore, constructivist and functionalist concepts were combined to give rise to sophisticated and innovative furniture. The respect of the tradition naturally joined creative freedom to break with orthodoxy but without losing the imagination and the poetry of the form.
"Coração partido" as the Brazilians say. Objekto have, indeed, the heart divided between two countries, two cultures, two populations: a foot in France, the other in Brazil. Benoît Halbronn, Matthieu Halbronn, Guillaume Leman, animated by a common passion for this continent country and the design, are at the origin of Objekto. A company, two offices: : one in Marseille, the other in São Paulo.
Their vocation: to promote the Brazilian design and the designers.
Their activity: to represent, edit and distribute in Europe and US a group of Brazilian designers revealing the contemporary creations of their country (furniture, luminaries, objects).
Their network: retailers of furniture and contemporary luminaries and art galleries.
Leitmotiv : quality, innovative character and accessibility of creations they distribute.

| A scheming and attractive lamp. Manufactured from a single plastic band rolled up on it, the structure can be manipulated to change the form and the orientation of the light. | The shape of this armchair is impressive by its graphic and sculptural aspects. Tribal mask or wink to sadomasochism, this noteworthy piece was at that time very avant-gardist and remains very modern. | The Kaeko coffee table is a perfect illustration of Rafic Farah conception of design : simple and sophisticated at the same time. | The emblematic part of the work of Reno Bonzon is certainly the rocking chair "Gaivota", probably the most rewarded creation in Brazil, combining at the same time aestheticism and ergonomy. |
